The celebration of Life services for Simone Alexis Schuermann, 16, of Pond Creek will be 1 p.m. Thursday, April 12 at Pond Creek School Auditori-um. Rev. Sonja Tobey will officiate. Burial will follow in Pond Creek Cemetery. Arrange-ments are being made through Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek, OK. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at the school auditorium.
Simone was born Dec. 28, 1990 in Enid, OK to Steven L. and Judith A. Schuermann and was called to heaven Saturday, April 7, 2007 in Pond Creek.
Simone grew up in Pond Creek the baby of 10 children. She attended Pond Creek School from kindergarten and was a sophomore at the time of her passing. Her activities included softball, band, vocal, FCA, and the “We can make a difference” singing group. She enjoyed living life, writing, and music. Simone touched many, many, lives and had made a thousand friendships in her short time on this earth. Her beautiful smile, sassy attitude, and caring heart will forever be missed all who knew her.
Surviving are her parents, Steven L. and Judith A. Schuermann; grandmother, Jody Schuermann; brothers, Zach and Adam Schuermann, Kenny and wife Brenda Ferris, Jeff Ferris, John and wife Cara Ferris, Josh Ferris and Aja Drennan; sisters, Jeri Ferris, Brandi and husband Brent Johnson and Jennifer and husband Dusty Berkenbile; nieces and nephews, Kenneth and Kevin Ferris Daevry and Adler Mae Berkenbile, Dane Johnson and Lathan and Layni Jo Ferris, Michael Ferris and Morgan Aandahl; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Otis Dee Schuer-mann and Ralph and Delsie Lathan.
Memorials may be made to Simone Schuermann Memorial Fund at First State Bank of Pond Creek.
