March 8, 1951 - March 27, 2022Funeral services for Francis Eugene Rainbolt, 71, Enid resident, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel. Pastor Brad Mendenhall will officiate. Committal prayers and interment will follow in Pond Creek Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittswowrth Funeral Service.
Francis was born on March 8, 1951 in Enid, the son of Hershel and Emma Rainbolt, and passed away peacefully on March 27, 2022 in Wichita.
Francis was raised in Enid and Pond Creek, graduating from Pond Creek High School. He then attended OT Autry Vo Tech, studying Electronics. Francis married Lois Rachel Russell in Enid, on March 17, 1972. He worked with his father at Rainbolt Body Shop in Pond Creek. He worked for Groendyke in the body shop for ten years. He worked at Specialty Electronics for ten years.
Francis broadcast the City of Enid Commission Meetings. Francis opened Magoo’s Electronics in Enid and operated it for twelve years. Francis was a member of World Harvest Church, former member of the Jaysees.
Survivors include his wife, Lois of the home; son, Jon and wife Christina Rainbolt of Wichita; daughter, Rachel Rainbolt of Arkansas; grandson, Hayden Rainbolt; great-grandchildren, Abbigale and Zaden; Sisters,, Norma Holden of Billings, Oklahoma, Sue Hughes of Goltry, Sandra Fraggetta of Lahoma, Oklahoma, Christy Rainbolt of Garber, Oklahoma.
Francis was preceded in passing by his parents and one sister.
