A graveside service for Lillian Overton Day, 92, of Nash, will be 10 a.m. Friday in Pond Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Gary Lillie will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
She was born May 9, 1914, in Lincoln, Kan., to Charles and Lura McCormick and died Monday, Sept. 4, 2006, at Community Health Center, Wakita.
She moved with her family to Nash at age five where she grew up and attended Nash school and worked in the school cafeteria.
She married Earl Overton Nov. 2, 1932. They farmed east and south of Nash. He died in 1948.
In 1980, she moved to Enid and worked for the Methodist Home until she retired. She later married Lloyd Day in Enid.
Surviving are two sons, Earl Overton of Pond Creek, and Merlin Overton of Alva; two daughters, Reta Overton of Yuba, Calif., and Lavay Moore of Nash; four brothers; two sisters; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, two brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to Community Health Center, Wakita, or Hospice Circle of Love, Enid.
