Pond Creek Cemetery


A graveside service for Allen Lynn Nelson, 64, will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Pond Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Ronnie Hopkins will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.

He was born Nov. 25, 1942, in Enid to Russell G. and Helen Welch Nelson and died Thursday, Jan. 11, 2007, at Wesley Rehabilitation Center, Wichita, Kan.

He was a 1960 graduate of Wichita East High School, Wichita, and a graduate of Wichita State University. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from York Heating and Air-conditioning.

Surviving are one sister, Norma D. Nelson.

Memorials may be made to Leukemia Society of America, Kansas Chapter Inc.
