The funeral for Pearl Louise Miksch, 82, of Enid will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Anderson-Burris Funeral Home chapel. The Rev. Kevin Ward will officiate. Burial will be in Pond Creek Cemetery.
She was born April 13, 1925, in Merkel, Texas, to Oscar Leon and Willie Louise (Baugh) McMinn and died Friday, Feb. 1, 2008, at her home in Enid.
She graduated from Barnsdall High School. She married Mark “Bud” Leonard Miksch Nov. 5, 1944, in Barnsdall. They made their home in Wichita, Kan. She worked for Sedgwick County Public Schools until her retirement in 1983. In 1985, they moved to Rogers, Ark. He died Oct. 6, 1997. In April 1998, she moved to Enid. She was a member of Central Assembly of God Church, where she was active in Senior Saints, Star Widows and taught Sunday school.
Surviving are two daughters, Mary Kraus of Pond Creek and Deborah Campbell of Enid; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud.
Memorials may be made to Central Assembly of God Church missions fund or Hospice Circle of Love.
