The funeral for Earl Lee McCart, 83, will be 10 a.m. Monday at United Methodist Church, Pond Creek, with Rev. Kay Buchanan officiating. Interment will be in Pond Creek Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Family Life Center in Pond

Earl Lee McCart was born Jan. 24, 1928, near Pond Creek to Earl Thomas and Beulah Fern Hughes McCart and died Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Integris Bass Baptist Health Center.

Earl Lee graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1946 and from Enid Business College in 1947.

Earl Lee McCart and Deloris McDaniel were married March 18, 1950, in Enid. They lived and farmed near Pond Creek. He was a member of United Methodist Church and Pond Creek Young Farmers.

Earl Lee loved to go to the coffee shop and visit with his many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Louise Foster.

ISurviving are his wife, Deloris McCart; daughters, Cathy Voss of Derby, Kan., and Terry McCart of Dallas, Texas; son, Dean McCart and wife Ora of Pond Creek.; and grandchildren, Lindsay Voss and husband Scott Imel, Jake Voss and wife Ashley, Kristin McCart and Eric McCart.

Memorials may be made to United Methodist Church or Pond Creek Firemen and Ambulance Association.
