Vicki Denise Maner visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today, Jan. 10, 2014 at Wilson Funeral Chapel, Pond Creek.
Vicki Denise Maner’s funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at First Baptist Church, Pond Creek with the Rev. Les Washnock officiating.
Interment will follow in Pond Creek Cemetery. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Vicki was born to Dennis and Jean Williams on Feb. 9, 1954, in Seminole, Okla.
She received her heavenly wings on Jan. 8, 2014.
Vicki graduated Covington-Douglas High School in 1973.
Lee and Vicki had their first date on Oct. 15, 1972.
She married Lee Maner July 26, 1974 at the First Baptist Church in Covington, Okla.
They lived in Hunter, moving to Pond Creek in 1982 were she seen her son and daughter graduate.
She was a very active Pond Creek-Hunter mom. Enjoyed football, basketball, baseball and softball, 4H and FFA.
She got her driver’s license at the age of 52. It put a big smile on her face.
She loved bingo and helping people.
She is preceded in death by her grandmother and father. Vicki is survived by her mother, Jean Worthen, Edmond; husband, Lee Maner, Pond Creek; son, Matthew and Melissa Maner and daughter Megan, Irving, Texas; daughter, Amber and David Freeman and son, Maddox, “Little Maner,” Edmond; sisters, Terri and Mike Kuykendall, Galdstone, Ore.; three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Pond Creek or Pond Creek Firemens’ Association.
