Edwards, Jerald “Jerry” Wayne, 51, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Bristow. He was born December 17, 1959 in Oklahoma City to James Eugene and Joan Pauline (Stehno) Edwards.

Jerry was an agent for American General Finance for the past twenty plus years. His territory was west of Tulsa. Jerry was a member of the International Red Cross and was a part of the disaster response team.

Jerry was a lifelong Oklahoma State University and Dallas Cowboys fan. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening. He was very giving and loved taking care of people. He especially loved picking on family members. Jerry's whit, smiles and opinions will be missed by his family and friends. He will be remembered for his honesty, integrity and his passion for whatever he decided to accomplish.

Jerry is survived by his parents of Oklahoma City; daughter, Jenifer Emma Edwards of Springboro, Ohio; brother, John Edwards and his wife, Anne of Oklahoma City; companion, Lara L. Rauch of Moore; two nephews, Christopher Edwards and Sean Edwards, both of Oklahoma City; and cousins, Jeannie Stehno of Great Falls, Montana and Ashley Ann Edstrom of Grand Junction, Colorado. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Frank and Emma Stehno; paternal grandparents, Eugene and Clara Edwards; two ants, Helen Stehno and Mary Ann Stehno; and one uncle, John Stehno.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Friday, March 11, 2011 at the Havenbrook Funeral Home, 3401 Havenbrook Street, Norman. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 12, 2011 in the Chapel of Havenbrook Funeral Home. Following the services, Jerry will be laid to rest at 3:30 P.M. at Pond Creek Cemetery, Pond Creek, Oklahoma under the direction of Havenbrook Funeral Home.
