A Celebration of Life Service for Wanda L. "Jakie" Davis age 87, of Stillwater, formerly of Enid is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2018, at the Ladusau-Evans Chapel with Rev. Jim Edmison. Burial is in Pond Creek Cemetery, Pond Creek, under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Jakie was born March 4, 1930, in Enid to Laurence and Bea (Capehart) Parriott, and passed away at her daughter's home in Stillwater on February 20, 2018. She graduated from Pond Creek High School in 1948. On November 11, 1948, she married Oscar L. "Swede" Davis in the First Baptist Church in Pond Creek. He passed away January 3, 2006. They moved to Enid in 1952. She worked several years at Day Ford.
She is survived by her children, Paul Davis and Jean, Diana Mitchell and Richard, Connie Fitzpatrick and Curtis; grandchildren Tammy Shannon and Eddie, Tracy Mitchell, Ashley Zielny and Jason, Bryan Davis and Jenny, Ricki Crabtree and Mark, Alisha Davis, Codi Walker and Brandon, Austin Fitzpatrick and Erin, and Chelsea Fitzpatrick; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Juanita Gale and Bill Parriott and companion Rex Campbell.
Memorials may be made to Christian Church of the Covenant Fruity Tuesday Program, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving custodians of the funds.
