Muriel Louise (Crouse) (King) Bradford peacefully passed away Friday, Dec. 6, 2013, in Enid, Okla., at the age of 92. She was born Sept. 8, 1921, to Henry and Maude Smith Crouse of Pond Creek, Okla.
She grew up in the Pond Creek area and graduated from Pond Creek High School.
She was united in marriage to Frank C. King on June 1, 1939. This union was blessed with four children.
Muriel married Walter “Bruce” Bradford Oct. 16, 1990, in Longmont, Colo. They enjoyed their retirement years in Enid, Okla., traveling together and hosting many family holiday dinners. She is survived by her husband, Walter “Bruce” Bradford; sister, Neva Felix, Enid; daughter, Linda Cash, Vici, Okla.; son, Dale King and wife Brenda, Tahlequah, Okla; son, Don King and wife Pat, Tahlequah, Okla.; daughter, Ann Meyer and husband Doug, Russell, Kan.; stepdaughter, Charla Hill and husband Bill of Mesa, Ariz.; stepdaughter, Vickie Clark and husband Jerry, Bristo, Okla.; 16 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-greatgrandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother, three infant children, husband, Frank King, and son-in-law, Durwood Cash.
She was a devoted wife and mother, who enjoyed oil painting and golf in her earlier years, and attending the sporting events of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren in the later years. The family has lost a loving heart with a warm smile.
Visitation is 2-4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Chapel, Pond Creek. Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013, at Wilson Funeral Chapel, Pond Creek, with the Rev. Bob Smith officiating. Interment following in Pond Creek Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Pond Creek Cemetery Association.
