ENID — Funeral service for Joyce Renee’ Bower, 52, of Okemah, will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012, at Ladusau-Evans Chapel
with Rev. Don Tines officiating.
Burial will follow in Pond Creek Cemetery under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Renee’ was born Sept. 17, 1959, to Joyce Ewer and Jess Thomas Stipe in Canyon, Texas, and passed away Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Solara Hospital in Shawnee, Okla., after a lengthy
battle with COPD.
She attended school in Canyon and Gruver, Texas.
Her career was in Safeway and Homeland Grocery from 1985 until her retirement in 2011.
Renee’ married Ronnie Adcock in 1975 and gave birth to Robin Adcock and Justin Adcock. He passed away in 1982.
She married Steve Christian and gave birth to Steve Christian. She later married Larry Bower on Jan. 24, 1997, in Taos, N.M.
They lived in Guymon, Okla., until moving to Seminole and presided in Okemah until her death.
Renee’ is survived by her husband, Larry Bower of the home; sons, Steven Ray Christian of the home, Justin Adcock and wife Dulce of Stillwater, Okla., and Brandon Bower and wife
Amy of Enid; daughters, Shannon Rogers and husband Mike and Amanda Pospisil of Enid; three brothers, Raymond Stipe and wife Janice, and Marty Stipe and wife Candy, both of
Sunray, Texas, and Gary Stipe of Portland, Ore.; stepmother, Beth Stipe of Amarillo, Texas; stepbrother, Jerry Mangum of Tulsa; stepsister, Ginny Williams of Amarillo, Texas;
mother-in-law, Jane Gragert and husband John of Enid; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the funds.
