A memorial service for Dan Harold Ballard, 57, will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Oakwood Christian Church. The Rev. Dennis Treat will officiate. Arrangements are by Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
He was born July 5, 1949, in Enid to Dale and Gloria Gibson Ballard and died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2006, at his home.
He attended school in Jefferson and graduated from Enid High School in 1967. He worked as a mechanic at Northcutt Chevrolet and Stuart Pontiac. He was a truck driver, retiring from Advance Food Co. in 2000.
Surviving are his wife, Teresa of the home; four sons, Nick Ballard, Heath Conrady and Jeff Conrady, all of Enid, and Eric Ballard of Tulsa; his mother, Gloria Ballard of Jefferson; one sister, Teresa Holloway of Waldron, Ark.; two brothers, Tim and Jay Ballard, both of Enid; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to American Cancer Society, Relay for Life through Enid Cancer Care or Hospice Circle of Love.
