Visitation for Gordon Anstead will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, at Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, at Pond Creek Cemetery.
Gordon was born Aug. 18, 1935, in Enid, Okla., to Frank and Mary Ann McKee Anstead and died Friday, March 27, 2015, in Enid, Okla., at the age of 79.
He was a sports fanatic.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Leroy Anstead; one daughter, Louetta Jean Anstead; and one son, Charles Gordon Anstead.
Gordon is survived by his wife, Shirley Stowers; one sister, Barbara Boudousquie; one daughter, Myra Mayberry of Lahoma; two sons, Phillip Anstead and Brian Anstead, both of Enid; stepsons, Jack Stowers, Enid, Tobey Stowers, Skiatook, and Terry Stowers, Norman; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or the cherity of donors choice.
