Pond Creek Cemetery


The funeral for Billy “Bill” Ray Aebi, 60, of Pond Creek will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Christian Church, Pond Creek. The Rev. Ronnie Hopkins will officiate. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. The casket will be closed after the service.

He was born Jan. 10, 1947, in Enid to Wesley Ernest and Mildred Ruth Shaffer Aebi and died Friday, June 1, 2007.

He was raised in Pond Creek and graduated from high school in 1965. He joined the Army in 1966 and served in Vietnam.

He married Teresa Jean Jardot Nov. 1, 1969, in Pond Creek. They made their home in Hillsdale. They moved to Pond Creek in 1975. He was employed by Feuquay Grain Co. in Pond Creek and later in Jefferson, the latter of which became a branch of Farmers Grain in Pond Creek.

Surviving are his wife, Teresa; two sons, Todd of Enid and Tony of Jenks; one brother, Larry Aebi of Waukomis; one sister, Sharon Thul of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three granddaughters.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Hospice Circle of Love or a charity of donor’s choice.
