Medford – The funeral for Alberta Aebi., 73, who died Wednesday in an Enid hospital, will be at 2 PM Saturday at Jefferson United Methodist Church with the Rev. David McKenzie officiating. Burial will be at Pond Creek Cemetery.
She was born near Jefferson on April 27, 1915. She graduated from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She was an elementary teacher at Gore and Renfrow until her retirement in 1968.
Her husband, Clarence, preceded her in death in 1977. They lived on a farm south of Wakita until 1973 when they moved to Medford. She was a member of the Jefferson United Methodist Church, Riverdale Grange and Friendly Group.
Survivors include three sons, Frank of Springfield, Virginia, Max and Bruce, both of Enid; a brother, Fred Speldie of Medford; and seven grandchildren, two of whom, Charlie Aebi. And Debbie Morris grew up in her home.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Division.
