June 22nd, 1939 - December 11th, 2021Funeral services for Nora Lee Buchanan will be 1:00pm, Wednesday, December 15, 2021 in the Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow in New Home Cemetery in Nash. Services are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Nora Lee was born June 22 1939 in Jet to Arthur and Sylvia (Venn) Black and passed away December 11, 2021 in Enid. She went to Jet and Nash schools from 1945-1957. Later she went to Enid Business College. She had five children from her first marriage, while living in Holyoke, Mass. From 1960-1976. Nora went to work for DHS as a secretary for over 25 years until she retired. In 1984, she married Bob Buchanan, and made their home in Nash. After Bob's death Nora moved back to Enid where she resided until her death.
She is survived by her children, Dennis Bushey, Eileen Brakhage, Roland Bushey and wife Becky, Brenda Harris and husband Steve and Larry Bushey; grandchildren, Andrea, Savannah, Forrest, Lonnie, Katherine, Steffanie, Isaac; 14 great grandchildren; brother, Larry Black; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.
Nora is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob Buchanan; sister, Juanita; three brothers, Don, Floyd and Davie.
Memorial donations can be made to the Enid SPCA with Ladusau-Evans serving as custodian of the funds.
