Herbert W. Prince Dies Unexpended
Billings -- Herbert W. Prince, 71, died unexpended Monday morning at his home Northeast of Billings.
Born at Hastings, Neb., he came with his parents to Oklahoma in 1889, settling North west of Billings and living in the Billings and Tonkawa communities since that time. He served in France during World War I with a medical detachment of 89th Division.
He is survived by his wife, Opal: three daughters, Mrs. Emil Sebranek of Hunter, Mrs. D.L. McConnell, Billings, and Shirley of the home: eight sons, Herbert L. of Blackwell, James E. of U. S. Army, stationed in California, Warren of Billings, Arthur of Altus Air Force Base, Thomas, Chester, Jake and Billy Joe of the home: one brother, Leroy of Lamont: two sister, Mrs. Roy Anderson of Tonkawa and Mrs. Chester Anderson of Glencoe.
Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Freedom Baptist Church northeast of Billings with the Rev. Bill Combrink officiating. Burial is the be in Mount Vernon Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home.
