The funeral service celebrating the life of Robert Lee "Bob" Kugel, 56 of Enid is 2 p.m. Monday, August 8, 2016, at the Brown-Cummings Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor James Gillis officiating. Burial follows at the Mount Vernon Cemetery. The service is under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.

Bob was born Nov. 3, 1959, in Ponca City to Bryan and Eva Reye Logan Kugel, and passed away August 3, 2016 in Enid. He attended Lamont Elementary and Junior High, then graduated from Deer Creek-Lamont High School. Bob received his associates degree from Oklahoma Tech in Okmulgee.

He started working in Kingfisher, before returning to the family farm where he worked with his father. Bob was a member of the Enid Free Methodist Church, where he was the sound tech for over ten years. Bob was also a member of the Grant County Sheriff's Reserve.

Bob is survived by his father, of Lamont; brother, John, of the Philippines; step-sisters, Linda Courtney, of Ponca City; Evelyn Grimley, of Ponca City; niece, Jennifer of Frisco, Texas; and great-nephew, Jordan, of Lamont.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother; and sister, Mirth
