Enid News and Eagle ENID, Okla. — Michael David Lee, 26, of Quinton, Okla., passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Quinton. Michael was born June 4, 1986, in Enid, Okla., to Jeffery Shannon and Kelly (Hulsey) Lee.
He attended and graduated from Quinton High School in 2004.
He served in the United States Marines in Iraq for four years. While serving his country, Michael received several decorations, including the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the Iraq Campaign Medal with one Campaign Star, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal and the Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
Michael worked as a brick mason and also as prison guard at McAlester’s prison.
Survivors include: Father, Jeffery Lee and fiancée Danette Lyn of Waukomis; mother, Kelly Munoz and husband Domingo of Quinton; two daughters, Johnny Cheyanne Hyslop-Brown of Sand Springs and Destiny Nicole Remy of Quinton; one son, Gage Remy, of Quinton; Michael’s fiancée, Tanya Copeland of the home; two sisters, Rashel Dalegowski and husband Cameron of Follett, Texas, and Tracee Ann Taber and husband Isaac Newton of Quinton; three aunts, Sissy Bone of Enid, Anita Tingler and Angie Kirkley, both of Enid; uncle, Rocky Lee of Enid; a niece, Bailey Faye Taber of Quinton; maternal grandfather, David Hulsey and wife Jan of Longtown; and his wife (separated), Kelly Hyslop of Sand Springs.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Faye Hulsey, and paternal grandparents, Robert E. Lee and Wilma Faye Combrink.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. today, March 5, 2013, at Mount Pleasant-Salt Fork Cemetery in Hunter, Okla. Burial is under the direction of Hunn & Black Funeral Home, Eufaula, Okla.
