Funeral service for Betty Doris Neilson Feely of Cherokee will be Friday, June 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Lanman Funeral Home Chapel in Cherokee. Burial will follow at Manchester Cemetery. Doris was born on June 17, 1936 to Leslie Veril Neilson and Opal Luella Estes Neilson and passed from this life in Cherokee on June 12, 2018. Doris spent all of her life in the Manchester, Oklahoma, Waldron, Kansas and Cherokee, Oklahoma areas. She married Horace Clyde Feely on May 9, 1952. Her life consisted of running the Grandma’s Place Daycare, taking care of numerous children. All of her life she was raising children or taking care of other children as she had her own children in school for forty-three consecutive years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Clyde Feely; her parents, Leslie and Opal Neilson; her brothers, Jimmie Neilson and Lester Neilson; granddaughter, Kristy Feely; nephews, Johnnie Hess, Scot Neilson and Leslie Neilson; niece, Trica Hess and great grandson, Joe Brown.

Doris is survived by her children, Sherryl Doud and husband, Larry, William (Bill) Feely and wife, Patty, Betty Mae Licklider, Paula Green, Clyde (Rusty) Feely and partner, Fawnda Martin, Cynthia Kozee and husband, Quentin (Phil) and Tony Lee; grandchildren, Aimee Cornforth and husband, Andy, Melissa Weaver and husband, Jason, Carrie Brown and husband, Ken, Trisha Bernard and husband, Bo, William Robert (Jake) Feely, Chris Feely and wife, Shannon, Heather Morales and husband, Marlon, Derrick Cruzrodz and wife, Cheryl Lynn, Chianne Drake and fiancé, Cheyenne McKey, Stephanie Mast and husband, Gary, Samantha Ellerbeck and partner, Jeremy Unruh, Trista Taylor and husband, Robert (Marion), Shandy James and husband, Roger, Dakota Feely, Tabitha Diefenbach and fiancé, Jon Talley, Tiffany Dale and husband, Keith, Ricky Diefenbach and wife, Elizabeth; great grandchildren, Ashley and Amber Cornforth, Garrett, Preston and Holly Weaver, Kaitlyn and Taylor Brown, Colton and Jud Barnard, Asher Chaney, Ayden Feely and Journey Lemmons, Sandra Arguello and fiancé, Manuel Arcon, Lucia Vasquez, Mariano Vasquez, David Wayne (DW) and Ayla Jeanette (AJ) Cruzrodz, Guinevere and Anaya McKey, Nicholas Green, Timothy and Brayden Mast, Brantley and Clayton Ellerbeck, Julius and Jor`Dyn Luster, Jody Taylor, Kourtney and Cooper Bullard, Landon, Morgan, Mason, Ryder and Abby James, Traycen Bush, Ayden and Daygen Talley, Hunter and Colton Dale and Porter Diefenbach; great grandchild, Liam Arguello; one sister, Patricia Hess
