The funeral for Joyce "Sue" Ailey Sanderson, "Granny," 65, of Ponca City, will be 2 p.m. Friday at Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Tonkawa. Chaplin Mike Sweetman will officiate. Burial will follow in Lamont Cemetery, Lamont. Arrange-ments are by Dugger Funeral Home, Tonkawa.
She was born Nov. 10, 1939, in Depew to Leonard and Pearl Mullins Ailey and died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2005, at Via Christi Regional Medical Center.
She moved to Tonkawa as a young girl. She married Lloyd Sanderson in Tonkawa. He died in January 2004.
Surviving are one daughter, Rhonda Gray of Bartlesville; one stepdaughter, Stacy Grubbs of Portales, N.M.; one stepson, Brad Sanderson of Edmond; two brothers, Chuck Ailey of Ponca City and Archie Sanderson of Naples, Fla.; two sisters, Martha Legg of Moore and Obenetta Siegler of Graham, Texas; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband Lloyd, she was preceded in death by one daughter.
