The funeral for Linda Mulkey, 60, of Carmen, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009, at United Methodist Church, Carmen. Pastors John Bizzell and Jim Nance will officiate. Burial will be 2 p.m. in Lamont Cemetery. Arrangements are by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
She was born Feb. 5, 1948, in Pasadena, Texas, to William Earl and Earline Dunn Smith and died Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008, in Carmen.
She married Hubert "Hoot" Mulkey Dec. 22, 1977, in Oklahoma City. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Carmen, and Ridin' 4 Him Cowboy Baptist Church, Byron. She was Baptized on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2008.
Surviving are her husband, Hoot; her mother, Earline Dowden; three daughters, Melonie Miller, Tiffany Carroll and Crystal Carroll; two stepchildren, Thomas Mulkey and Kim Donnell; one sister, Martha Vining; two brothers, Lamar Smith and John Miller; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her father and stepfather.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
