Funeral services for Mrs. Esther Stratton Bare, 89, Wichita, Kansas, will be at 10 AM Monday at the Henninger – Allen Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Richard Duckworth officiating. Burial will be at 1 PM in the Lamont Cemetery.

Mrs. Bare died Friday morning in an Enid hospital.

She was born in Clay Center, Kansas, and in 1909 married Si Stratton at Eddy, Oklahoma. They made their home in the Lamont area. Stratton died in 1926.

She made her home in Wichita the past 35 years and recently moved to Enid where she entered the hospital.

She was baptized in the Christian Church at an early age.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Ethel) Grove, Enid, Mrs. Ward (Gloria) Lewis, Wichita, Mrs. Dean (Liberty) Lewis, Hutchinson, Kansas; two sons, Jack and Bruce Stratton, both of Enid; nine grandchildren; five great – grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Bruce, Tulsa, and Mrs. Bessie Jones and Mrs. Gertrude Powell, both of Wichita.
