Lois Jeannette (Mills) Clover
Feb. 15, 1931 ~ Aug. 30, 2011

NASH — Lois Jeannette Clover was born Feb. 15, 1931, in Wakita to Jesse Wayne Mills and Mary Ellen (Smithhisler) Mills and died Tuesday, Aug. 30, 2011, at her home in Nash.

Lois married Philip Curtis Clover Jan. 23, 1947, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Manchester. They moved to their farm near Hawley in 1950. She enjoyed canning, sewing, gardening, baking, painting and raising CJ Quarter horses.

Surviving are children, Steve Clover and wife JoAnn of Wakita, Bob Clover and wife Barbara of Ottawa, Kan., Ester Thomas and husband Jerry of Nash, Peggy Williams and husband Jay of Wakita, and Lois Eilene Clover of Anthony, Kan.; grandchildren, Buddy, Malissa, Jennifer, Lavonne, Robert, Curtis, Nikki, Jerrod, Jaylene, Jessica, Cheyenne and Samantha; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Russell, Brent, Justin, Morgan, Lilly, Felicity, Cole, Cody, Ethan, Jacob, Madisyn, Ethyn and Logan; great-great-grandchild, Damion Lee; brothers, Wayne and Marion Mills; and sisters, Juanita Ricke, Martina Myers, Phyllis McClaflin and Shirley Werner.

Funeral is 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Bethel Hawley Baptist Church with Revs. Gary Lillie and Dan O’Daniel officiating. Burial in Hawley Cemetery, north of Nash. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home, Pond Creek.
Memorials may be made to Hawley Fire Department.
