Sherri Diane McBrain died unexpectedly at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas on Sunday June, 4, 2017 at the age of 59.

Sherri is survived by her daughter Tera McBrain of Blackwell, Oklahoma a son Casey Wimmer of Blackwell, Oklahoma. Mother Dorothy Littleton of Blackwell, Oklahoma. Also, survived by one sister, four brothers, twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sherri was born on April, 29 1958 in Wichita Kansas to Francis and Dorothy McBrain (Logue). She attended Blackwell High School where she graduated with honors in 1978. From there she attended Northern Oklahoma College where she received a degree in drafting. She returned to school there in 1997 graduating with a degree as a registered nurse. She spent most of her working years at Hillcrest manor nursing home in Blackwell, Oklahoma.

Sherri was preceded in death by her father Francis McBrain and Daughter Diana Gaither.

A graveside memorial is scheduled for Friday June 9, 2017 at 2:00 pm Eddy New Home cemetery in Eddy, OK. Pastor Randy Ratliff of Blackwell First Baptist Church will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend to celebrate Sherri’s life.
