Stover, age 64, of Cement, OK, will be held at 3 pm, Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at Woods Memorial Pleasant Hill Union Cemetery, southwest of Chickasha. Michael James Stover was born May 10, 1944, in Chickasha, OK to Earl and Clysta Thada [Baker] Stover. He died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his home. Michael has lived in the area most of his life. He worked as a carpenter and concrete finisher. He has been pastor of 7 Cedars Baptist Church, north of Cement, for 13 years. He married Vicki Dawn Peden on July 31, 1967, in Lawton, OK. Michael is preceded in death by 3 brothers, John, Stephen and Rodney and a grandson, Jererny Daniel White. Survivors include: his wife, Vicki Stover, of Cement, OK, Two daughters - Cynthia June White and Michelle Clysta Cogbum. One son - Michael James Stover 9 Grandchildren: Christopher James White, Audra Lawana Williams, Natasha Nicole White, Kirsti Dawn Youngblood, Michaela Danielle Stover, Joshua Zane White, Avery Thomas Youngblood, Ashley Marie Stover Shyla Michelle White. 3 great grandchildren: Alycia Dawn White, Kadyn Jeremy Dewayne Crawford, Christian James White. 4 sisters: Sonja Turner, Kathy Frizzell, Debbie Clement, Sherry Pursley Bomhoff. 4 brothers: Timothy Stover, David Stover, Charles Stover Andrew Stover. Interment will be in Woods Memorial Pleasant Hill Union Cemetery, southwest of Chickasha, Oklahoma under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
