© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma September 28, 2009 ~ September 30, 2009 August 24, 1967 ~ September 24, 2009 Funeral service for Richard 'Ric' Howard Blair, 42, of Chickasha, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2009 at the Bible Baptist Church, Chickasha. Richard 'Ric' Howard Blair was born August 24, 1967 in Portland, Oregon the son of Terrance Howard and Alicia [Malicoat] Blair. He died September 24, 2009 in Chickasha after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by loving family and friends. Ric lived in Portland, Oregon, and Chickasha area most of his life. He graduated from Chickasha High School in 1985. He met Tina Justus in December of 1987, and they were married August 27, 1988 in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Ric enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and nature. He also enjoyed working on cars, playing with his dogs, and enjoyed his nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. He also enjoyed spending time with friends and family and helping to raise money for different children's charities. Ric was preceded in death by: Muffin, beloved friend and companion, Father: Terrance Howard Blair, 1 sister: Eugena Henry, Grandparents: Hugh Malicoat, Ellonia Schoolfield Malicoat and Astrid Blair. Survivors include: Wife: Tina Blair of the home, His 'girls': Sadie, GiGi, Sugar and Cinnamon, Parents: Alicia and Doug Henry of Chickasha, Sisters and brothers: Lisa and Ron Heikes of Bridgecreek, Robert Blair and Pat Blair of Oregon, Doug Henry and Denise of Sulphur, OK, Joel Henry and Kelly of Chickasha, OK, Eva Hamilton of Chickasha, Precious and Frank Brantley of Chickasha. Numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Interment will be in the Woods Memorial Pleasant Hill Union Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home. |
