Genevive "Jeney" Marie Petary

MARLOW ~ Genevive "Jeney" Marie Petary, 70, of Marlow died Sunday, Jan. 12, 2003 in Duncan.

Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Alvin Turner officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery.

Mrs. Petary was born Sept. 11, 1932, in Russell, Iowa, to James Elmer and Elizabeth Dunkin. She married Lawrence L. Petary in 1952.

She was a homemaker and leaves wonders and laughter and many memories to her husband of 50 years, Lawrence.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence, of the home; three daughters and their spouses, Patience Wright and her husband, Jerry, and Roxy Wilson and her husband, Bill, all of Rush Springs, Nancy O'Neal and her husband, Cowboy, of Phoenix, Ariz.; and two sons, Jake Petary and Buck Petary and his wife, Mary, all of Rush Springs; three sisters, Kathryn and Dorothy of California and Mildred of Iowa; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great- grandchildren on the way; and many friends and loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Harold W. Dunkin; and a granddaughter, Selina Fawn Williams.

Bearers will be Jerry Petary, Buck Petary, Jerry Wright Jr., Robert Page and Charles Fisher.
