© The Chickasha Express-Star 16 November 2012 Edward Todd "Eddie" Gifford Rush Springs: Edward "Eddie" Todd Gifford, 48, Rush Springs, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009 in Oklahoma City. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, October 1, 2009, at the Westview Cemetery, with Rev. Michael Nunn officiating. Service are under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs. Eddie was born Tuesday, August 15, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, to James Sterling Gifford and Effie B. Gifford. Eddie lived in Downer's Grove, IL before moving to Rush Springs in 1997. He attended school at Romeoville High School in Illinois. Eddie married Shelley Stringfellow on January 24, 1992 in Oklahoma City. He enjoyed music, playing guitar, watching t.v. and driving. He also enjoyed fixing things and helping people. He loved spending time with his children. Eddie attended the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs. Survivors include, Wife, Shelley Gifford of the home, 2 Daughters, Tabetha Gifford of Pontiac, IL, Tina Vania Gifford of the home, Abby Rose Gifford of the home, Grandchild, Collin Gifford of Pontiac, IL, 2 Brothers, Jack Gifford, IL, Donnie Gifford of Tullahoma, TN, 4 Sisters, Libby Finley of Tullahoma, TN, Ora Flannigan of Bowling Brook, IL, Wanda Gifford of Bowling Brook, IL, Debbie Gifford, IL, Several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Wayne and Floyd Gifford. |
