© Duncan Banner Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007 Lloyd Russell Derozier Rush Springs: Lloyd Russell Derozier, 58, Rush Springs, passed away Friday, October 2, 2009 in Rush Springs. Services will be held at 1:00pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at the Rush Springs High School Auditorium, with David Hale officiating. Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, Oklahoma. Lloyd was born Thursday, November 23, 1950 in Ninnekah, Oklahoma, to Lyle R. Derozier and Bobbie C. (Willoughby) Derozier. Lloyd lived in Wisconson before moving to Rush Springs in 1970. He graduated from Case High School in Racin, WI. He served in the US Marines as a medic during the Vietnam War. Lloyd married Shiela Gibson on July 14, 2008 in Rush Springs. He worked in the maintenance department at Rush Springs Public School for several years. Lloyd enjoyed riding his motorcycle. He loved working at the school and seeing the school kids. He was the rock to his family. Lloyd was a member of the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church. Survivors include, Wife, Shiela Derozier of the home, 2 Sons, Phillip Derozier of the home, Lloyd Derozier, Jr. of the home, 2 Daughters, Abbi Derozier of the home, Heather Karr, Iowa, 8 Grandchildren, 2 Brothers, Danny Derozier and wife Carol of Tigerton, WI, Jerry Derozier and wife Pat of Jefferson City, MO, 4 Sisters, Joyce Jennings of Chickasha, Pat Moore and husband Dale of Maud, OK, Annie Orr and husbnad Kenny of Rush Springs, Linda Rice of Rush Springs, Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Pallbearers will be Jerry Crow, Richy Large, William Rice, Mike Zurline, Tommy Ferguson, Russell Baggett. Honorary pallbearers, Teachers and Staff of Rush Springs High School. He was preceded in death by his parents. |
