Mary Ann [Roberts] Blain

RUSH SPRINGS -- Mary Ann [Roberts] Blain, 71, Rush Springs, passed away Monday, May 18, 2009 in Chickasha.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at the Rush Springs Church of Christ, with Clif Werhan officiating.

Burial will be in the Westview Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs.

Mary was born Tuesday, October 19, 1937 in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, to Daniel Frank Roberts and Eva Francis [Stone] Roberts.

Mary lived in Sterling before moving to Rush Springs in 1965. She graduated from Sterling High School in 1955.

Mary married Jimmie Leu on April 2, 1955 in Duncan. He preceded her in death on January 3, 1989. She then married Joe Blain on July 17, 1992 in Rush Springs.

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking and playing softball and basketball. She loved spending time and taking care of her family and friends.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include, Husband, Joe Blain of the home, Son, Wayne Leu and wife Sandy of Amber, OK, 2 Daughters, Cindi Stump and husband David of Oklahoma City, Terri Leu and Michael Schlueter of Port St. Lucie, FL, 6 Grandchildren, Brenden Easter, Dillan Leu, Colton Leu, Lauren Stump, Katie Stump, Lacy Robb and husband Shane. Great grandchild, Londyn Robb, Brother, Kenneth Roberts of Duncan, OK, Sister, Pauline Painter of Bradley, OK, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin brother, Dan Roberts, 2 sisters, Wanda Strong, Lela Guess.Pallbearers: Daryn Brantley, Bryan Brantley, Kevin Worden, Stacy Estes, Scott Myers, James Sweet. Honorary Pallbearers: Bobby Davis, Floyd Travis, Gary Worden, Paul Loveless.
