© The Chickasha Express-Star Sunday, December 2, 2012 Bobby Clyde "Bobcat" Abshire Bobby Clyde "Bobcat" Abshire, 65, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2012 in Chickasha. Bobby was born Monday, June 30, 1947 in Fort Cobb to Clyde and Viola [Roberts] Abshire. Bobby grew up in Rush Springs and had lived in Chickasha for over the past 30 years. He married Shirlet Ann Wineburg in Chickasha. They have been married for over 33 years. Bobby worked in the parks and sanitation department for the City of Chickasha for 33 years. He was a small engine repairman, enjoying fixing bikes for the neighborhood kids and loved to scrap. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include, wife, Shirley Abshire of the home; sons, David Abshire of Pampa, TX, Phillip Murrack and wife Misty of Pampa, TX, Brandon Abshire of Duncan; grandchildren, Thomas Abshire, Bryson Murrack, Morgan Abshire, Kennedy Abshire; mother, Viola Abshire of Pampa, TX; brother, Wilbur Ray Abshire and wife Mammy of Longview, TX; sister, Darlene Vickery of Pampa, TX; several nieces and nephews; a host of friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his father. Pallbearers will be Roy Maloney, Allen Cox, Elgin Rich, Bobby Guerrero, Dan Ward, Joel Hatchett. |
