CALLED AWAY Claude Swain, son of Mrs. Florence Swain, was born at Moody, Texas, October 29, 1900. He was ten years of age when his parents came to Oklahoma. He died Sunday, March 26, 1916, at the home of his mother in Verden, death being due to pneumonia. Age, 15 years and 5 months. His death was preceded just one week by that of his younger brother, Roy.
Claude was converted and always lived an upright Christian life. He was a boy of noble character and was beloved by all who knew him. One of the strongest points of his character was great love for his mother. He was an honest and faithful young man, a kind and obedient son, and a good and loving brother. Besides his mother he leaves a father, three brothers and one sister and a host of friends and relatives to mourn his loss.
