Eulala [Dayton] Simmons

OBITUARY

Mrs. Eulala Dayton-Simmons was born in Alabama September 17th, 1872, passed away at her home northwest of Verden, March 28th, 1935, at the age of 62 years, 6 months, and 11 days.

Mrs. Simmons when a small girl moved with her family to Texas and lived there until grown.

At the age of 22 years she was united in marriage to M. C. Simmons and to this union was born three children, one passed away in infancy, Floyd and Carl are left to mourn.

Mr. and Mrs. Simmons moved from Texas to Oklahoma in 1906 and have resided in this community since that time.

She was converted at an early age and united with the Missionary Baptist church of which she has been a member ever since. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Verden at the time of her death.

Services were held at the Baptist church in Verden Friday morning with Rev. C. W. Taylor in charge.

Interment was made in Verden cemetery. Hansen Funeral Home in charge of the burial arrangements.
