16 December 1910Annie Elizabeth [Peters] Sanders
GOOD WOMAN PASSES AWAY Annie Elizabeth Sanders, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Peters of Pocassett, passed to the Spirit World on December 8th, age 35 years 4 months and 11 days.
She was born in Scotland county, Mo. In early childhood her parents moved to Norman and from there to Union City where she was married to J. M. Sanders in 1892. To this union four boys were born, one dying in infancy, beside these she leaves mother and father, two brothers and one sister, namely E. W. and A. J. Peters and Mrs. Bessie Callahan.
To these bereaved ones Heaven means more since she is there.
She was one of the sweetest spirited Christians we have ever met, we never heard her speak an unkind word of anybody.
The funeral services were conducted in the Methodist church at Verden by Rev. P. T. McWhorter who also officiated at her wedding.
She rests in peace
may we all so
that we may clasp
her "beckoning hands,"
some glad day.
