© The Verden News Verden, Oklahoma July --, 1963 Elzie Elias Ryans Verden ~ Funeral services for Elzie E. Ryans was held Saturday at Free Will Baptist Church in Chickasha. Rev. Rue Dell Smith, pastor, officiated. Ryans was born Dec 23, 1895, at Stephenville, Tex. He died July 11 at Grady Memorial Hospital. He was 67. He came to Oklahoma in 1908 and farmed south of Verden for a number of years. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Florence Malone, Long Beach, Calif.; Mrs. Bessie McCormick, Verden, and Mrs. Doris Blevins, Wilcox, Ariz.; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Romine, Chickasha and one brother Richard Ryans, Stockton, Calif. Interment was in Verden cemetery under direction of Hansen Funeral Home Verden |

Leroy Ryans was born August 3, 1939 in Lawton, Oklahoma. He died Thursday, August 9, 2007 in Oklahoma City. Interment was in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home |
