© The Chickasha Star Chickasha, Oklahoma 30 January 1969 Mary Rose Randle RANDLE SERVICES HELD Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Verden, for Mrs. Mary Rose Randle, 64, of Verden, who passed away at 1 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Paul Hampton officiating. Mrs. Randle was born Aug. 26, 1904 in King, Ky. In 1923 she married Mark Edwin Randle in Corkin, Ky., who preceded her in death in 1947. She moved to Verden in 1916 from New York. She is survived by five sons; Merrel, Claud, and Richard Randle, all of Fairhorn, Ohio, Harrell Randle of Verden, and Charles F. Randle of Chickasha; three daughters, Mrs.Sadie Freeman, Greensboro, N.C., Mrs. Mildred Juanita Marsh, and Mrs. Phyllis Ann Norris, both of Jones; one brother, Claud Reynolds, Fairhorn, Ohio, one sister, Mrs. Erstle Mae Belcher, Hinton, and 19 grandchildren. |
© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Thursday, 23 July 2009 Harrel Randle Harrel Randle was born to Mary [Reynolds] and Mark Randle on June 26, 1927 in Gatliff, Kentucky. He served in the U.S. Army and was employed by the Department of Transportation in Grady County for 16 years. Harrel married Wanda Carol Milam on November 25, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas and they have made their home in Verden since 1963. He enjoyed traveling, playing dominoes and cards, all sports, and enjoyed his little dog, Babee. Harrel passed away July 21, 2009 at 82 years of age. Survivors include his wife, Wanda, of Verden; sons, David Randle of Verden, Keith Randle and his wife, Tammy, of Verden; daughters, Shirley Pugh and her husband, Jackie, of Verden, Diana Cooper and her husband, Allen, of Moore; 13 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Randle and his wife, Wilma, of Fairborn, Ohio, Charles Randle of Chickasha; sisters, Sadie Freeman and her husband, Bill, of Greensboro, North Carolina, Juanita Mason and her husband, James, of Jones; sister-in-law, Janice Randle of New Carlisle, Ohio; Uncle Claude Reynolds of Dayton, Ohio; numerous other relatives and friends. Harrel was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, two brothers, one sister, and one great grandson. Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 24, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Verden. Pastor Pat Wilburn and Rev. Edward Whitley will officiate with interment held in the Verden Cemetery. The daughter of Finis Jerome Milam and Avis Voleta [Taylor] Milam, she was born November 7, 1935 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Wanda graduated from Verden High School in 1953. She married the love of her life, Harrel Randle, on November 25, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas and he preceded her in death on July 21, 2009. Wanda worked for Maremont for many years until her retirement. She then began sewing for family and friends and turned her hobby into a booming business. Wanda was a member of the First Baptist Church of Verden for over fifty years. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, making things for family and friends, traveling, reading, and watching television, especially gospel music shows and crime dramas. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family, friends, and church family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one daughter, Karen Randle; grandson, Dustin Rhodes; great grandson, Tyler Johnson; one brother, Claude "Doc" Milam; one sister, Donna "Sue" O'Neal; and her beloved dog "Babee." Wanda is survived by two daughters, Shirley Pugh and her husband, Bill, of Verden and Diana Cooper and her husband, Allen, of Moore; two sons, David Randle of Verden and Keith Randle and his wife, Tammy, of Verden; twelve grandchildren, Murl Pugh and Letha Meeks, of Chickasha, Chris Pugh and his wife, Renae, of Verden, Timothy Pugh and his wife, Kinnie, of Norge, Eric Jantz and his wife, Crystal, of Chickasha, Buddy Rhodes and his wife, Savannah, of California, Natasha Johnson and her husband, Zack, of Moore, Robin Travis and her husband, Larry, of Cyril, Kevin Randle and his wife, Kayla, of Verden, Jesse Randle and his wife, Brooke, of Verden, Heather Aldredge and her husband, Cody, of Cyril, David Keil of Verden, and Dusty Keil and his wife, Ashley, of Anadarko; twenty three great grandchildren; two sisters, Verla Parker and her husband, Earl, of Newcastle and Joyce Hobgood of Verden; four brothers, Ben Milam, of Chickasha, Sam Milam and his wife, Francis, of Tuttle, Floyd Milam of Oklahoma City, Rodney Milam and his wife, Linda, of Mustang; four sisters-in-law, Linda Milam of Oklahoma City, Juanita Mason of Jones, Sadie Freeman of North Carolina, and Janice Randle of Ohio; brother-in-law, Bobby Randle and his wife, Wilma, of Ohio; many nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 5, 2017, at the First Baptist Church in Verden. Burial will follow in the Verden Cemetery.
