Odwell Therman "O. T" Potter
O. T. POTTER SERVICES HELD ON DECEMBER 11
Services for Odwell Therman Potter, 45, were held in the chapel of the Chickasha Funeral Home, Saturday afternoon. Rev. R. C. Miller of Chickasha officiated.
Burial was in the Verden Cemetery.
Mr. Potter, a former resident of Verden and Chickasha, had lived at Norman the past eight years where he was employed at Central State Hospital. He had been ill for the past five months and underwent an operation for a stomach ailment on Dec. 8. He died early on Dec. 10.
Survivors include his wife, Lela of Norman; two sons, Ray Gene of Chicago, Ill., and Billy Ray of Lockney, Texas; two daughters, Mary Alice Potter and Elsie Ruth Potter of Lockney, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Minnie Potter of Chickasha; his father, Monroe Potter of Anson, Texas; one brother, Byrle of Austin, Texas; one step-daughter, Louise Hankins, Austin, Texas and one niece, Mrs. Vaunseal Busby of Chickasha.
