George Steven Pitner
Funeral services for George Steven Pitner, of Verden, OK will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, Verden, OK.
George Steven Pitner was born December 8, 1954 in Richmond, California to George Thomas and Nelda Jean [Barr] Pitner. He passed away on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at his home at the age of 58.
Steve graduated from Verden High School in 1973. He worked in the oil field fro 1974 to 1986. For 15 years he worked as an aircraft mechanic for Champion Air and Express One in Dallas/Ft. Worth, DFW Airport and Love Field. Steve returned to the Verden area in 2005.
He married LaRayne McKune on September 28, 1989.
He is preceded in death by his father George Thomas Pitner.

Interment will be in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
