9 January 1931Margaret [Osborne] McLane
Margaret Osborne was born at the Anadarko Kiowa Agency, November 1, 1874, died at her home three miles west of Verden Monday January 5, 1931, age 56 years, two months and four days. She was married to S. J. McLane in June 1894, and to this union was born six children, three boys and three girls, Jackson McLane, Charley, Tim C., Mrs. Anna Molina, Mrs. Grace Taylor and Sudie Dysart, and eight grandchildren, all of whom survive her excepting Charley, who preceded her three years ago. In addition to her children and grandchildren she is survived by her husband, S. J. McLane, two brothers, John Osborne, Charley Pruner and one sister, Mattie Sturm and H. P. Pruner, her stepfather.
She united with the Baptist Church at Verden July 19, 1914 and was a life long member of it.
Funeral services were held at the Baptist church in Verden Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock p. m., conducted by the Rev. Taylor and interment was made in the Verden cemetery.
