SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. MARGARET L. HILL

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret L. Hill, a pioneer citizen, were conducted at the Dutton Methodist church at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 13, with Rev. A. C. Shelton, pastor of that church officiating. Interment was in the Verden cemetery with the Hansen Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.

Margaret L. Guthrie was born in Illinois, March 6, 1876, and passed away at the Oklahoma Hospital in Chickasha July 11, at the age of 68 years.

She was united in marriage May 6, 1906, to Fred W. Hill at Kingman, Kansas.

They removed to their Kansas. They removed to their present home in the Dutton community the following year, where they have since made their home.

To this union was born four children, three having preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Dutton Methodist church and led a very active life in church and community affairs.

Those left to mourn her departure are her husband, Fred W. Hill, one daughter, Mrs. Rose Mary Brown of Tulsa, four grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Ella M. Lake of Attica, Kansas; also a host of other relatives and friends.
