HAMRICK SERVICES HELD Charlie M. Hamrick passed on Sunday in Grady Memorial Hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1890 in Trion, Ga.
He moved southwest of Verden in 1902 where he farmed until retirement in 1955, then moved into Verden. He was a member of the Church of Christ, and a veteran of World War I.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Verden Church of Christ. Officiating was Loren Seath and Lester Stowe of Chickasha. Music was provided by the Church of Christ choir. Pallbearers were Cliff Mortan, Alvin Deason, Charles A. Nidav, Dee Ward, Paul DeBoard, and Kirby Whitley.
Survivors include one sister, Miss Sarah Adeline Harper; three brothers, Roy L. of Verden, Russell P. of Chickasha, and Wilford D. of Oakland, Calif.
Interment was in the Verden Cemetery under the direction of Hansen Funeral Home.
