Georgia Ann [Bailey] Cormack
September 25, 1865 ~ October 27, 1930


Mrs. Georgia Ann Bailey Cormack was born in Alabama, September 25, 1865, departed this life Monday evening at 8 p. m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bert Reed, with whom she was making her home. Mrs. Cormack had been ill several weeks.

She was the mother of ten children, six of whom are living, one son, Walter Cormack of Moulden, Arkansas; five girls, Mrs. Mattie North of Rosedale; Mrs. Nettie Putman of Ada; Mrs. Ellen Tolls and Mrs. Bert Reed of Verden. Beside her children she leaves to mourn her departure, 35 grandchildren; 84 great grandchildren and 3 great, great grandchildren.

Mrs. Cormack was converted and united with the Baptist church early in life, being a kind loving mother and a good neighbor.

Funeral services were conducted at the home with Rev. C. W. Taylor officiating, Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 and interment made in the Verden Cemetery.
