© The Anadarko Daily News Anadarko, Oklahoma December 11, 1985 March 9, 1891 ~ December 10, 1985 VERDEN - Services for Belle Matteson Clark, 94, of Verden will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Hansen-Binyon Chapel with the Rev. Burl Mackey, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Verden, officiating and Carl Stillwell, pastor of the Church of Christ of Verden, assisting. The casket will remain open until 1 p.m. Friday and will be closed for the services. Clark was born March 9, 1891 in Cyclone, Mo., and died Tuesday in Chickasha. She moved to Oklahoma from Pineville, Mo., in 1970. She was a member of the Pineville Church of Christ. She married Thomas Burr in 1909 in Pineville. He preceded her in death. In 1950, she married Henry Clark, who also preceded her in death. Survivors include two daughters, June Horn of Verden and Faye Brashear of Pineville; one son, Ray Burr of Purcell; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. Burial will be in the Verden Cemetery. |
