MRS. ADA BELLE CARDWELL SERVICES TO BE HELD SAT.

Services for Mrs. Ada Belle Jones Cardwell, 43, former Verden resident, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Chickasha Funeral chapel and burial will be in the Verden Cemetery.

Mrs. Cardwell was burned to death on May 27 in a fire at her home in Pittsburg, Calif.

She was born January 4, 1912 in Verden and had lived most of her life in and around Verden. She lived in Chickasha 10 years before moving to Calif. two years ago.

Survivors include her husband, Lavoy Cardwell; four sisters, Mrs. Eva Murphy of Chickasha, Mrs. Jessie Dempsey of Pocasset, Mrs. Maggie Love of Alburquerque, N. M.; and Mrs. Nell Haslet of Arlington, Va.; three brothers, Jimmie Jones, Coyle, Bill Jones, Pittsburg, and Walter Jones, Sacramento, Calif.
