James David Bond
January 10, 1849 ~ October 13, 1931


FUNERAL FOR JAMES BOND HELD FRIDAY

James Bond was born in England, January 10, 1849, and passed away at his home near Verden, October 13, 1931, at the age of 82 years, 9 months and 3 days.

Funeral will be held today, Friday, at the Methodist church with Rev. Herdick, pastor officiating. Interment will be made in the Verden Cemetery with Roy Hansen in charge of the burial arrangements.

Deceased is survived by his wife and nine children, Robert, Leonard, Solan, Walter, Leo and Dick Bond, the girls are Mrs. Maggie Schenk, Mrs. May Pippkin and Celia Holtzclaw.

BOND SERVICES TO BE HELD HERE FRIDAY

Funeral services for Thomas Benton Bond will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, at the Methodist Church at Verden with Rev. George Braddford, pastor of the Methodist Church at Dutton, officiating.

Interment will be in the Verden Cemetery with the Hansen Funeral Home in charge.

Casket bearers will be Mars Turner, E. A. Sandlin, C. R. Dahma, Alec Williams, Tom Wood and Kirby Whitley.

Thomas Benton Bond was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas, February 2, 1862, and died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. T. A. Kinsey, northeast of Verden, April 16, 1946, at the age of 84 years, two months and 14 days.

He was united in marriage to Eliza Stewart at Scott County, Arkansas in 1881, and to this union was born four children. They moved to the Indian Territory in 1891 and to Verden in 1924 where he has since made his home.

His wife preceded him in death in 1890. He was a member of the Methodist Church. He retired from farming several years ago.

He leaves to mourn his departure one daughter, Mrs. T. A. Kinsey, Verden; three sons, Charles F. Bond, Sulphur, Okla., Grover C. Bond, Verden, and Luther Bond of Arizona; 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren; one brother, Lee Bond, Tulsa; and two sisters, Mrs. Maggie Cotheran and Mrs. Minnie Cotheran of Ardmore

Goldia Lydia "Goldie" [Causey] Bond
March 28, 1888 ~ February 1, 1932


Mrs. Goldie Bond was born in Jenning, Kansas, March 28, 1888, and passed away at her home near Cogar, Oklahoma, February 1, 1932, aged 43 years, 9 months and 3 days.

She was united in Holy bonds of Matrimony with Salas Bond on July 4, 1906, and to this union was born 5 children, one boy and four girls, Robert, Mrs. Jessie Holding of St. Paul, Kansas, Bessie, who passed away at the age of one year and six months, and twins, Rosetta and Rosina.

She leaves to mourn her departure besides her husband and family, her mother, Mrs. Rosetta Causey, O. N. Causey of Cement, J. A. Causey of Washita, Kansas,Mrs. Agnes Misener, Mrs. Jennie Osborne of Neodesha, Kansas, Mrs. Ruby Adamison of Fredonia, Kansas, Mr. Sammie Causey of Coffeyville, Kansas, Mrs. Charles Causey and Mrs. Mabel Perry of Minerva, Ohio and two grandchildren.
