© The Chickasha Express-Star Chickasha, Oklahoma Tuesday, 2 February 2010 Grace M. [Hart] Scott Former Rush Springs resident Grace M. Scott, 95, passed away Wednesday, January 27, 2010, in Gainesville, TX. Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs, with Rev. Elmer Whitehead officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Spring Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Funeral Home in Marlow. Grace was born July 20, 1914, in Amber, Okla, to Franklin Hart and Gertrude [Hefner] Hart. Grace graduated from Ninneka High School and lived in Rush Springs for 58 years before moving to Gainesville, Texas, nine years ago. She married Milburn E. Scott in December 1933 in Chickasha. He preceded her in death on Jan. 16, 1980. Grace worked at the Rush Springs Pharmacy for several years. She loved going to church and being a part of chuch activities. She also enjoyed gardening and bird watching. Grace loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Church in Rush Springs and the Temple Baptist Church in Gainesville, Texas. Survivors include: four daughter, Barbara Dowling and husband Don of Frisco, Texas, Connie Stovall and husband Kenneth of Gainesville, Texas, Mary Nel O'Dell and husband Gary of Lake Kiowa, Texas, and Ginger DeCaluwe of Gainesville, Texas.; 64 grandchildren; great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter and son-in-law, George Kay and Frank Peterman; 2 grandsons, Tyler Scott Peterman and Douglas Lynn Dowling; 2 sisters, Lucille Beatty and Dora Willis; five brothers, George Hart, Albert Hart, John Hart, Raymond Hart and Larkin Hart.Pallbearers will be Jeff Dowling, Scott Boswell, Frank Peterman, Darren Southerland, Justin Boswell and Todd Peterman.Honorary pallbearers will be Greg Cypert, Chris Cypert, Arnold Johnson, Ronnie Jaraszewski, Marty Rowley and Jimmy Williams. Special thanks to Pecan Tree Rehabilitation Staff in Gainesville, Texas, Hubert Wright, Ken Blakey, Mary Tibbet, Retha Bond, Home Hospice.
