June 2018 Linda Gail [Severson] Davis Schaub Linda Gail [Severson] Davis Schaub, 59 years young, was born March 30, 1959 in Los Angeles, CA to Les and Opal [Sturgill] Severson and was taken home by God on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was the baby of three sisters and was named after the older two; [Donna Gail & Faye Linda]. Linda had lived in Los Angeles, but most of her life was spent in the Rush Springs area and she graduated from Rush Springs High School with the class of 1977. She was married to Bobby Davis on September 23, 1977 in Fletcher and they divorced in 1978. She married Jackie Dean Schaub on February 28, 1980 in Duncan. She worked as a CNA at several nursing homes and was a homemaker as well. She loved to go horseback riding and going to rodeos to watch the bull riding. She enjoyed fishing and hunting and working on family genealogy. Linda loved people and often volunteered at the senior citizens, but most of all, she loved her family and could always be counted on to make family calendars with all the birthdays and important dates and give them as Christmas presents. She had been a member of the Latter Day Saints Church of California and later became a member of the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church.She was such a loving a caring person and will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by a family who she dearly loved. They include her husband Jackie of the home, her two daughters, Rebecca Davoult of Rush Springs and Jessica Harmon and her husband Troy of Marlow. She is also survived by her two stepdaughters Jackie Lynn Loyd and her husband Greg of Rush Springs and Sharon McClain and husband Mark of Tuttle; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; a Sister Donna Hougaard of Santa Barbara, CA and numerous nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, a granddaughter Whytni Davoult, and 1 sister Faye Houser. Funeral services for Linda will be at 2:00 Tuesday, June 19 at the Vimy Ridge Baptist Church in Rush Springs with Rev. David Hale officiating. All arrangements have been entrusted to Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel of Rush Springs. |
