August 2015 Louis Orr Jr Rush Springs: Louis Orr, 77, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 in Duncan. A graveside service will be Wednesday August 26, 2015 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Tony Nichols and Rev. Rocky PettyJohn officiating. Burial will be in the Rush Springs Cemetery under the direction of Callaway-Smith-Cobb Chapel in Rush Springs, OK. Louis was born Monday, August 1, 1938 in Hartshorne, OK, to Lewis Orr and Vida [Dromgoole] Orr. Louis attended schools in Hartshorne. After graduation he served his country in the United States Army serving in Vietnam War. While in the service he met and married Christine Elizabeth Cline July 7, 1963 in Germany. After retiring from the military, they made their home in Rush Springs. Christine preceeded him in death on September 27,2008. Louis was a self employed welder and worked for several companys including Halliburton, and retired after 30 years. Louis then met and married Lynia Anne Bergey January 7, 2012 in Rush Springs. Louis enjoyed working in his yard, and being outdoors, his favorite pass time was to sit on his front porch and drink coffee. Louis also loved to ride his motorcycle and fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters- Bessie Gass and Anne Joyce Lambeth and 1 Infant Brother. |
