© Eisenhour Funeral Home Blanchard, Oklahoma Saturday, September 15, 2012 Katie Beatrice [Clement] Malone July 17, 1922 ~ September 15, 2012 Katie Beatrice [Clement] Malone, 90, of Rush Springs, died Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Rush Springs. The daughter of Charley A. and Sally Addie [Collins] Clement, she was born July 17, 1922 in Pushmataha County, Oklahoma. Katie loved camping, fishing, and playing cards, dominoes, and other games. She enjoyed going to church and was a member of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. Katie was very active and always kept the road hot going somewhere. She was a great cook and was known for her delicious pies. She loved her family and always enjoyed time spent with her kids and grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murrel Malone; a son, Sam Malone; a daughter, Mamie Malone; two grandchildren, Gina Crabtree and Daniel Malone; three great grandchildren; four brothers, Bill Clement, Barker Clement, Earl Jones, and Archie Jones; and a special friend who was like a sister to her, Mildred Miller. Katie is survived by five sons, Leon Malone of Rush Springs, Johnny Malone and wife Regina of Chickasha, David Malone and wife Lois of Chickasha, Daniel Malone of Chickasha, and Bobby Joe Malone and wife Tina of Verden; four daughters, Betty Christian and husband Clyde of Rush Springs, Jean Ross of Heavener, Evelyn Bridges and husband Bob of Chickasha, and Karen Arters and husband Dannie of Chickasha; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Vera Malone of Midwest City, a special friend who she claimed as a sister, Martha Drew; and many other loved ones and friends. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Grand Assembly of God Church in Chickasha. Interment will follow in Rush Springs Cemetery. © Eisenhour Funeral Home Blanchard, Oklahoma september 2019 March 19, 1945 ~ September 11, 2019 Mearl Leon Malone, 74, of Rush Springs, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019, in Duncan. The son of Murrel Calvin Malone and Katie Beatrice [Clement] Malone, he was born March 19, 1945 in Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mearl grew up and attended school in Chickasha, Oklahoma. He was a carpenter by trade, building many houses in Oklahoma. Mearl was an active member of the Oklahoma National Guard 45th Field Artillery C Battery, retiring after 25 years of service. Mearl was a very family-oriented man. He loved his children, grandchildren, and siblings. Anytime he could be fishing it was a good time. He was a very loving and compassionate person that would do anything he could to help someone. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Mamie Malone; and two brothers, Sammy and Daniel Malone. He is survived by two sons, Murrel Leon Malone, Jr. and his wife, Robin, and William Lee Malone; three daughters, Christina Goodyear, Katie Malone, and Miracle Cauthen and her husband, Michael; six grandchildren, April Rowell and her husband, Justin, Brandon Malone and his wife, Mattie, Mychale Malone, William Malone, Jr., Josiah Goodyear, and Lily Goodyear; four sisters, Betty Christian, Jean Ross, Evelyn Bridges and Shorty, and Karen Arters and her husband, Danny; three brothers, John Malone and his wife, Regina, David Malone and his wife, Lois, and Bobby Malone; numerous nephews and nieces; many other loved ones and friends.
